GourmetSki is set in a 100+ year old Savoyarde farmhouse, oozing with charm and original features – whilst also being at the cutting edge of construction and technology. Set over 3 floors and offering over 400 square metres of living accommodation, space and privacy (if desired) are guaranteed.
Newly converted for 2007, we have specified a very high standard of craftsmanship. Original features such as exposed beams and stone walls have been restored to their former glory and we have installed a highly efficient eco heating system, high levels of insulation (for coziness and sound-proofing throughout the chalet), wifi, audio-visuals and quality fixtures and antique furnishings throughout to create a real gem in the Alps.
We provide quality docking stations for Ipods and MP3 players and free wireless internet access 24/7.
The double height living room centres round the stunning panoramic open fire, with areas split for quiet reading, watching television or entertaining. Stairs lead down to the dining room and cosy bar snug room. The honesty bar offers a selection of beer, wine, spirits, fresh coffee, tea and a larder fridge for those munchie moments!
In addition there is a new games room and wellness suite comprising of darts, competiton standard pool table, PS2/DVD/TV/sound-system and board games. The wellness suite offers sauna, drench shower and massage area as well as an outdoor hot-tub with views of the mountains.
The owners live on-site in a separate apartment on the ground floor – far enough away to ensure your privacy and freedom, but close enough to offer a high level of service.
